The new Yaesu FTX-1 Field is a portable transceiver that utilizes SDR technology and provides 6W output power with its powerful 6400 mAh Lithium-Ion battery pack (allowing 9 hours of operation on the HF bands in SSB mode and 8 hours on the V/UHF bands in FM mode with a duty cycle of 6-6-48). An output power of up to 10 W is possible when using an external DC power supply.

Some of the basic and remarkable features of the new FTX-1 Field are:

SSB, CW, AM, FM and digital C4FM operating modes.

SDR technology and 3DSS (3-Dimensional Spectrum Stream) on a high-resolution 4.3-inch color touch display

Two independent receiver circuits enable simultaneous dual-band operation, both in the same band and in different bands. For example: SSB communication on the HF bands simultaneously with digital C4FM communication on the V/UHF bands (*HF+V, HF+U, V+V, U+U, V+U, U+V)

Two loudspeakers ensure clear and powerful audio output

An optional automatic antenna tuner can be attached to the back of the transceiver along with the high capacity, 6400 mAh Li-ion battery. The optional cooling fan, which is necessary for comfortable FT8 operation, can also be combined with the antenna tuner. (All-in-one design of the rear panel)

RF front end and low-noise reference oscillator enable phenomenal multi-signal reception characteristics

Effective QRM suppression by a fast 32-bit IF DSP (YAESU's well-known interference reduction systems: SHIFT / WIDTH / NOTCH / CONTOUR / APF / DNR / NB)

Compatible with WiRES-X operation

PMG (Primary Memory Group) function can register and monitor up to 5 frequently used frequencies

MAG (Memory Auto Grouping) function enables categorization of memory channels in each band, which can be quickly recalled by band group (HF/VHF/UHF/AIR/OTHERS)

USB ports support CAT operation, audio input/output and TX control
